Vegan Chai, baby!


CRUNCHY YUM ALERT: Vegan Chai, baby!

Ingredients

2 cups coconut milk, not canned
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon organic vanilla
2 tablespoons coconut sugar, unrefined pure cane sugar or organic maple syrup
1 teabag of your favorite chai tea (we love Tazo!)

Directions

In a small saucepan, mix all the ingredients with exception of the teabag. Mix while bringing to a mild boil. Once it is boiling, turn the heat down and seep the teabag in the saucepan. I just hold it up and press it against the side of the pan to move it along faster. Give it a few last stirs. Serve and enjoy!
