Raw Chocolate Chip Balls


With or without raw chocolate syrup!


Which choice will you make today! These are quick easy treat for you or your kids. I made them this weekend due to huge demand from my middle school aged daughter. She is a huge lover of chocolate chip cookie dough which made me mad crazy to find something healthy that would satisfy her craving for the SAD delight. Every version I have made has thrilled her. This one is the healthiest of them all!

Raw Chocolate Chip Balls


  • 1 cup coconut flour (you can make or buy)
  • 1 cup almond flour (you can make or buy)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup or another liquid sweetner (prefer organic, grade A)
  • 1/3 cup filtered water
  • 1/2 cup raw coconut oil (melted or soft from room temperature)
  • 1/2 teaspoon himalayan salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 bag vegan chocolate chips or cacao chips


Step 1
Throw together all ingredients with exception to the chocolate chips. Mix thoroughly. If it isn't moist enough for you, add more coconut oil or water.

** If you want to completely melt the coconut oil, place in a metal bowl. Then sit that bowl within another bowl that contains hot water to gently melt the oil.
Step 2
Now fold in the chips, at this point it should look like some serious chocolate chip cookie dough.
Step 3
Grab spoonfuls of the batter and roll into balls. Place all of the balls in a container, then place in the refrigerator and eat as you wish. Makes about 20.

If you choose the chocolate syrup addition, which can add more moisture and sweetness. You can dip the balls in as you eat or dip for a coverage of chocolate that you can harden in the refrigerator into a lovely candy shell. Follow this recipe:

Raw Chocolate Syrup


  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or other sweetner
  • 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup cashew butter
  • 1/4 cup filtered water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon himalayan salt


Step 1
Add all ingredients to high speed blender or food processor. Blend well until smooth.
