Cheezy Vegan Garlic Bread
Have a food that melts in your mouth and you just can’t stop eating?
Well, garlic cheese bread is that one for me. I remember going to Pizza Hut when I was a child and my favorite thing was not the pizza it was that cheesy buttery garlic bread we ordered with it. Thank you to Daiya vegan cheese for making such a fantastic product that truly replaces that savory experience with cheese garlic bread. Here is my vegan version of savory cheese garlic bread with a hint of rosemary that further sets off the experience.
Cheezy Vegan Garlic Bread
Ingredients
- 4 Ounces Daiya Plain Cream Cheese Style Spread
- 1-1/4 Cups Daiya Mozzarella Style Shreds
- 4 tablespoons Earth Balance vegan butter
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- bakery style, french or italian bread (sliced)
- kalamata olives (sliced)
- organic parsley (minced)
Directions
Step 1 | |
Blend together in your food processor the Plain Cream Cheese Style Spread, Mozzarella Style Shreds, dairy-free butter, garlic, and salt. | |
Step 2 | |
Preheat your broiler. Take your slices of bread, generously spread your cheezy mixture on one side of the bread. | |
Step 3 | |
Place the bread on the cookie sheet with the cheezy spread side facing up. Sprinkle optional toppings if you wish. | |
Step 4 | |
Place cookie sheet under the broiler till the cheese mixture starts turning a golden brown. Dive in and have the savory melt in your mouth ... enjoy! |
